General

FactorX is a digital marketplace that connects companies wanting to sell their trade receivables with institutional investors interested in buying them. The platform facilitates the matching of supply and demand for trade receivables in a transparent and secure way.
No, FactorX operates exclusively as a technology matching platform. We do not manage capital or provide financing. We provide tools for negotiation, digital contract signing, and transaction monitoring.
The platform charges a 1.5% commission on the value of completed contracts, charged to the investor at the time of signing. There are no fixed monthly costs or hidden fees for companies.
Once the digital contract signing is complete and documentation is verified, the advance is typically disbursed within 24-48 business hours.

For Companies

All Italian SMEs with an active VAT number and commercial invoices from reliable customers. The platform is designed for companies that need immediate liquidity and have trade receivables to monetize.
To complete registration, you need: updated chamber of commerce certificate, ID of the legal representative, last 2 filed financial statements, and company tax documentation.
KYC (Know Your Customer) verification typically takes 24-48 business hours. Once your profile is approved, you can immediately start uploading your invoices.
Yes, you have full control. You publish offers on the marketplace, evaluate proposals received from investors, and decide who to complete the transaction with.
In non-recourse factoring, the risk of debtor insolvency passes to the investor. In recourse factoring, the selling company retains responsibility in case of non-payment by the debtor.

For Investors

Qualified institutional investors: asset management companies, investment funds, family offices, banks, and other professional financial operators. Verification of regulatory requirements is required.
You explore the marketplace with all available offers, submit proposals on transactions of interest, negotiate terms (advance, discount rate), and digitally sign the assignment contract.
For each offer, we provide: debtor credit rating, payment history, industry sector, company size, invoice due dates, and platform reliability score.
The platform monitors due dates and provides updates on collection status. In case of delays or defaults, the system automatically notifies all parties involved.

Security

Yes, we use end-to-end encryption for all sensitive data. The infrastructure is hosted on Cloudflare with enterprise security certifications. We are fully GDPR compliant.
Contracts are signed with advanced electronic signature (AES), which has full legal validity under EU Regulation eIDAS (EU) No. 910/2014. Each signature is uniquely associated with the signer.
Yes, email 2FA is mandatory for investors and available as an option for all companies. We strongly recommend enabling it for enhanced security.
Every company goes through a KYC verification process that includes: chamber of commerce check, legal representative identity verification, tax documentation analysis, and creditworthiness assessment.
